Welcome to the Romsey Round Table website

Romsey Round Table consists of a group of like minded guys from Romsey, Wellow, Chandlers Ford and Southampton who get together once a fortnight to have fun. Details of all of some of the things we have done this year are detailed on the news page.

Rib Trip

The Rib trip to Isle of Wight has become an annual tradition

Annual Ski Weekend

What a great event the 2008 ski weekend was - oh and we also did some skiing!

Mummers Play

In December we visit local pubs and raise money for local charities

Ladies Night

Another top performance - but of what?

AGM 2008

Presentation of Tabler of the Year award

However, we also raise thousands of pounds for the local community and in the past have supported the local Scouts & Brownies and a variety of other youth groups. Most recently we raised 17,000 pounds for Naomi House, the local childrens hospice.

Please use the links to explore our site and learn more about Romsey Round Table. If you like what you see why not consider joining us.

Romsey Round Table Charity

Over Christmas Romsey Round Table brought the Carol float around the streets of Romsey and visited the Pubs in and around Romsey to perform our Mummer play.

This years main charity was the Hampshire Autistic Society which we recently presented with a check of 1500 Pounds.

Recent Event - Dad's and children camping weekend

Extra brownie points all round for the Romsey Round Table Dads as they tol the kiddies camping for the weekend. The Mums said goodbye to the car packed with tents, stoves, chairs, sleeping bags, and the kids on the Friday night and had the whole weekend for shopping and girls nights out.

There were various levels of experience from the newbies in the nice new tents to the old-hands with their 5 star accommodation and built in lounge bar! Then there were the ones who turned up late and kipped in someone else's tent!

The Saturday started well with a fry-up

and then off to the beach where the Chairman led the way in the.. well in the chair of course.

The winner of the children's sand castle building competition was of course Steve. Although rumours of the cement mix were later proved to be only rumours..

A great time was had by all - even those brave enough to go for a swim.

Next Event - Paintballing

The next event will be on Tuesday 15th July.  Each year we get together with other local tables to have joint events together. This year its war! Winchester Round Table have challenged Romsey Round Table to a paintballing contest at a local venue and then, once all testosterone has been truly expended, it is off to a local for a swift half and a BBQ to celebrate the conquerors.

Romsey have managed to win the competition for the last 2 years and are hoping for the hat-trick!.

Please contact us through our webpage if you are a budding SAS type and want to prove your colours!
